Facebook Friends

This article is true. I know that I have way more friends on Facebook then in real life, but I don’t have a ridiculous amount of friends, like a lot of my friends do. I do think that social networking could be getting more dangerous because, like the article said people would rather give a full name to a stranger than a number, which they may think is less dangerous but it really isn’t. I know that on Facebook or any other social network I make sure that I do not give away anything to personal, though I do know people where they will say anything. Such as telling Facebook that there going away on vacation, I make sure I do not say anything like that. Facebook is fun, and it is a much easier way to get in contact with someone, but you do have to watch and make sure it’s safe.
Oprah says goodbye after 25 years
Posted on: May 26, 2011
Oprah Winfrey, after 25 years of being the queen of talk show says goodbye. Her last episode was yesterday, and it was very emotional, in the audience, at home, and for her. I know that my mom would watch Oprah everyday after I came home from school. Oprah’s episodes were always exciting, especially her giveaway videos! Though I guess it is just her time to say goodbye, but before she leaves she thanks America, because she wouldn’t have gotten to where she is now without all of us.
Musical Jeans

This video is quite random, and I actually really enjoyed it. This person used 1000 jeans, with sounds from the zippers, buttons, ripping sounds, and smacking the jeans together. It was actually pretty cool to see that something as simple as a pair of jeans, with a little creativity could make a great song.
The new American Idol? -The Voice
Posted on: May 11, 2011
The Voice is a new singing competition show that aired three weeks ago, and immediately the show was a huge hit. I have always been a huge fan of American Idol, so I wasnt to quick to jump to this show. Though once I heard how many good reviews and all the talk this show was getting, I just had to watch it. I am very pleased I did, the show is great! The show has 4 huge stars-Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, and Cee Lo Green. The judge backs are turned to the singers, so appearance has no effect on the person’s ability to sing. It’s all about their voice. It is a very different twist from American Idol, because there are so many shows out there that just try to copy American Idol, but this show is original. The show airs every Tuesday, and I will be tuned in every week!
Dear 16 year old me.

This video made me really sad, first of all. And being 16 really made me think. It’s crazy that one bad sunburn could lead to a skin cancer when your older. We have to protect our skin now not later! By taking that 5 minutes to apply sunscreen really could help tremendously. A lot of cancers we cannot control, but skin cancer for the most part we can. Be aware of your skin and take care of your skin because it can truly make a difference.
After all the hard work Donald Trump put in to try and convince people that President Obama was not an american citizen backfired on him at the White House Correspondents Dinner. At the dinner Obama got Trump back big time, with all the birth certificate jokes and actually showing Obama’s birth certificate. It was hilarious, and the look on Donald Trumps face was priceless. He just had to sit there and take it, but he deserved it.

T-Mobile Royal Wedding
Posted on: May 2, 2011
I know that this is a joke, but I actually believed it for a second. I cannot believe how similar they got these people to look to the actual royal family. Especially Prince Harry looks identical! If this was real, it would have been hilarious to see a royal family joking around. Though were probably never going to see that, so this was a fun substitute to watch because of how similar they look.
Obama’s Speech on Osama Bin Laden
Posted on: May 2, 2011
Yesterday, on May 1st 2011 it was confirmed that Osama Bin Laden is dead. After a decade since the 9/11 attacks, the United States has had Osama as the number one man to kill on their list. He was the man behind the worst attack in US history and now he is finally dead. He was killed with a bullet to the head by US troops, no US men were harmed or civilians. It is a great day for Americans, people who lost loved ones on that day finally have some closure, they feel that they got their revenge. Of course, this does not end all terrorist problems but it is a moment to be celebrated in the United States.
